We are very fortunate and excited to have the opportunity to be supported by the National Literacy Trust. They have provided us with some new library furniture and around 500 new books to update our library space and motivate our pupils to read for pleasure. Mr Osborne, Mrs Sheehan, Miss Herron and some of our pupil literacy team were thrilled to see our new books arrive this week!
Well Done to ECO Club and Mrs Andrews who participated in the Trocaire Game Changers Final today at Dublin University. Congratulations on coming an amazing 3rd place.
Robbie (P7), Jessica (P7) and Tilly (P6) represented Springfield at the 30th Anniversary Service of the Shankill Bomb Memorial Service in the Shankill Primary Choir.
We are delighted to announce that from today Springfield Primary School has been given keys allowing access to The Paisley Park Sports Complex. This includes the football pitches and athletics track, taking our PE and sports to a higher level. A special thank you to the Paisley Park Sportsplex Management Committee for their kindness and support.
